Abyssus Best Skills, Charms & Upgrades
Your run is defined by three upgrade layers: Aspects/Blessings (see the Blessings guide), Charms, and Ancient Forge weapon mods. Here is what to prioritise.
Upgrade priority (the golden rules)
- Match mods to fire rate. Fast/multi-hit weapons (Tesla, Combat Bow) want status-spread, lightning and ice mods; slow burst weapons (Harpoon, Shotgun, Revolver) want critical & raw-damage mods.
- Forge first: unlock Reload Speed and Magazine Capacity early — less downtime is the easiest universal DPS gain.
- Don't go pure glass cannon. Balance damage with shield-generating (Barrier) and cooldown-reduction charms to survive late bosses.
- Watch out: some "Pure Kinetic" mods convert your damage type and can silently disable elemental Blessing procs.

Reduces dash cooldown by ~50% — a survival game-changer.
Giant Slayer
+20% damage against the toughest targets (bosses/elites).
Activate Gun Mode
After using an ability, weapon fire rate spikes — great with low-cooldown abilities.
Gold Lure
Accumulate gold faster — feeds Goldburst damage.
Golden Ticket
Gold economy boost for Fortune builds.
Gold Converter
Converts gold into combat value for Goldburst scaling.
Phoenix Feather
Survival / revive safety net.
